Any place I can mount these up front?

I haven't really looked, but I was curious if anybody knew where/if I could put these up front...

Custom fab some brackets for them and put them on the frame

I had those before. Bolted straight to the frame and took off the lower valance. This was on a different Gen Ranger though. I ended up removing those and installing D-shackles, had to many problems with them during recovery.

really...w/o a bodylift...that bracket needs to be about a 6" drop, then the hooks....that's alot of leverage and the risk of it snapping off the frame is decent imo.

Ya, I got a pair of those from the junkyard and have not decided on how I want to mount them to the truck yet. I was thinking maybe just putting a hitch in the front of my truck and fabing them with that some how. We will see.

I hooks very similar on the front, I just drilled and threaded 1/2" holes in the frame. I don't really have any good pics, but you can kind of see one here, look against the plants underneath the front. 4 1/2" grade 8 bolts holding them on, they've worked well, the frame is going to bed before anything else.
