Deer dont have Insurance...

Well this is the first time I have said anything about this, but Feb. 2nd I was on my way home from coyote hunting late at night(right around midnight) and I stopped by a drink machine to get me a ice-cold mountian Dew. Well, I was goin down the road and I seen 3 deer on the side of the road. I came to a COMPLETE stop and let em all pass. Well, I got up to bout 20 mph and then, POP!! I had a lil 8-pointer t-bone me right in the drivers door. I jumped out, loaded the Mini14, and was hoping the deer was layin in the ditch(apparently it ran off), it would of made me feel a lil better if I would of been able to put bout 7-10 rounds through that **** which ended up costing me $500(deductable). But, for $500 im getting $2K worth of body work done. I didnt think it did that much damage till I woke up the next morining and I liked to of puked when I seen all the carnage. I didnt get a chance to take pics before I put it in the body shop, but here is some pics of what has been done so far...

That stinks man. Plus the deer got away so you don't get anything out of it.

sux man, ive hit 2 lol, i hit one after work over a year ago, 55 mph broadside (he was chasing a doe). he destroyed everything from the hood down, had no lights, and no cell phone. me and the trooper found him and while the trooper was saying how big he was i jumped in the ditch and ripped out the remaining antler out of his skull and carried it to the patrol car, shoulda seen the trooper's face!

Yeah, I had 10 rounds in the Mini14 .223 caliber, and I was so wanting to fill his gut with a little but if lead and copper, right in the middle of town. Lucky **** ran off.

JEEZ $500 deductible for comprehensive, you guys paying that much for comprehensive are with the wrong insurace company or something. When i hit my deer the Ins Comp paid for $3682 worth of damage and my comprehensive deductible was $50.00 yes Fifty dollars. I mean unless i have got some Super Special rate i think you guys are getting F****D over with that stuff.

Yeah, I thought that was as high as giraffe ***** myself. I have AllState insurance, and they lowballed me BAD on my estimate. My body shop has already called and told me that they have already sucked another $400 out of em. But, where i am from you see deer dead on the road all the time. Everyone around here has a rediculas deductable amount. Progressive was $750, but maybe this is b/c I have a horrible driving record while I was between the ages of 16-22. The first day I got my lisence, was the first time I got a speeding ticket. I done calmed down now, I have never been pulled over in my Ranger(Knock on wood) and I've had it since 2002.
Yeah, its full coverage. I have less than 6 more payments on it and that **** is mine!!

That sucks man, same thing happened to my dad one morning except after the deer hit the door it rolled all the way down the side of the truck. After the deer hit him the car behind him hit it and ran over the top of it.

Sorry to hear about your truck, I just got mine back yesterday, from my deer encounter last week. I have progressive and I also had a 500 dollar deductible. Mines so high in order to keep my monthly payments down.

whats your premium... higher the deductible the lower the premium usually is...

that sucks, stuff like that and having a branch fall on your truck have to be the worst because you dont get any compensation
