Quick Fix to stop rust?

Hey everyone. Back again with my quest to rid my truck of all its little rust spots. I have several spots where paint has been chipped down to the point that only white is showing. I've been told this is the clear coat or something. I was wondering If I would be able to just get some of that wax for black vehicles and if it would make them go away. If not please tell me.

I know this is a truck and all but I still like it looking good. Although I've pretty much gave up on de-rusting some under body parts and am thinking of doing the same for the rest of the body.

Any input would be great.

paint...if its rusting to bad you have to cut it the hell out and replace it, thats the only true way. and its metal no matter what car/truck it will rust never ending battle.....so ya....unless you buy a rubbermaid car...

near the bed and on the side there are 3 spots about the size of a quarter that went to the metal. They are browning over with rust. And I know any vehicle will rust. I don't mind it. But in Wisconsin in the winter when you have to have salt sit on the underside part of your vehicle for 6 months it EATS through the metal. That's what I'm trying to stop. My exhaust rusted through and two of my leaf springs are about to go and ford will replace them under warranty.

And Bob, it is those 3 quarter size areas. they are to the metal but some white is still visible so should I just paint it with touch up or how do you think I should go about it?

Mmm Rubermaid......

What if you sprayed your whole truck with that ruberized bed liner stuff.... Wouldn't chip scratch or rust.
