Quick HID and lens question

I have a set of HID lights that will fit my ranger but I was concerned that putting them in the stock 96 headlight housings I'd blind everyone because they're not projectors. True or should I just stick them in?

I use to have some in my 99 Silvarado and I aimed my lights a little lower then normal, never had any one flash me, not once. They were so bright that even aimed a little low they worked great. Im thinking about getting a set for my 94 Ranger.

the only issue with that is your truck has lens optics. which puts the light where it needs to go with normal halogen bulbs. but when you put HID's in lights like that, it literally throws the light EVERYWHERE. no matter how you aim them, you will throw light all over the place.

looks cool either way, but just something to think about.

They will blind everybody dude. I tried it and ended up getting new lights off ebay. you wont be able to aim then either because the way they disperse the light.
