Ranger sunroof?

I saw a 2000 ish reg cab ranger driving beside me on the freeway this morning with his sunroof open did rangers come with them at all? then i started looking at my truck and wondering but the headliner really isnt flat enough to put one in i would think does anyone else have a sunroof in their truck?

some dealers installed them they weren't an option for rangers

Rangers never had sunroofs from the factory. It is an aftermarket kit.

well theirs alway's somebody. ^^some body put it in didn't they? i was thinking of putting one in mine cause I have alway's wanted one, probably won't do it 'till it's paid for.

It was in it when i bought the truck, its really nice because the glass is removeable for when i want some sun. I can get the name of the brand in a couple minutes here..

Sweet, I may have to find one, and get it installed! I wish I had a sunroof.

sad thing is mine was just out of the body shop 2-3 months ago and needed a new roof, I should have had them put one in :-(

I love my sunroof! A couple guys on RPS have put in the Expo motorized ones in, looks sick as hell

^^ i had to play with an expo motorized one earlier.. wasnt that fun tryin to make the reverse wire go back in the slot after i accidently removed it lol

In the mid 90's there was a company in CA that would cut out your roof and back window and give you a removable hardtop to replace it. That would have been sweet. It was like a combo sunroof/ no rear window, the whole top and back was off.

I tried looking them up, they are gone now.

you mean a hard top convertible?

i was looking at a couple different kits but my headliner isnt flat i dont know how the older trucks are but its kinda conformed to the sunvisors and what not. not flat at all lol i think a whole new headliner would have to be put in too but idk going back to work yall have a good day

Ranger 4.0 I guess you could call it that. Have you heard of anyone doing that? From what I understand they leaked too much.
