Repairing plastic bumpers?
Well i was messing around and trying to drive over this big snow bank which i found out was ice and now i have a big crack in the bumper. I was thinking i might be able to use a 2 part epoxy or melt them back together. Any input would be helpful.
$33 for like a 6 oz bottle. Im not sure its worth it to spend that much i can get a new one though my work shipped for around 80.
Epoxy will not hold too well. Use some ABS cement from Home Depot/Lowes. Bout $2-3 a can.
It molds to the existing ABS plastic. You can add it to the crack, mold it, and then sand it smooth. Then finally paint the valance with some paint, and you're golden.
