I have 2002 Ex mirror inserts in my factory 2003 Ranger housings - snapped right in. Also, Muth sells exactly the same heated signal mirror kit for power mirrors in 2001.5~2005 Ranger and 2001.5~2005 Explorer/Mountaineer. If you look at Ranger/Explorer mirrors from before that year range, the insides are completely different.
