My front hitch with Level II tow hooks
I think it looks great.
One thing…

Reinforcement on the outer edge of the receiver !
I know it won’t be used as much as a rear receiver but a ring of steel tubing around the outer edge will make the receiver last a lot longer.

Do you mean the center tube? Because it's welded all around the tube and is braced on the bottom side
The outer edge of the receiver takes a lot of punishment from the ball and hook moving sideways and up and down and can open up over time.
A single tube will open up before a reinforced tube.
Get a piece of tubing the has an ID the same as the receiver hitches OD, cut a piece approx ˝ to ľ” long, slide it on the end and match to the front edge, weld it in place.
Having a problem explaining, not my best aptitude, look on the end of a Purchased Received Hitch and see what I mean.

I see what you mean now. I had to cut that off because my valence wouldn't fit around it without using your hand to pull the valence opening.
Since it won't be used to pull trailers I don't think it will be a big deal. I'm only going to pulling myself or others out of places, so it's only being used for short amount of times.
I think newer valences have larger opening so some people may not have to cut the end off like I did

Watch it and you will see the sides starting to bulge.
When pulling your buddies out and when you get hauled out if there is a lot of tugging it WILL stretch.
It is just me, you have your way and your reason and that it that but I do like to play on the safe side.
Luck,
