Template for 4.0 SOHC to 5R55E bolt pattern/dimensions
Long time no hear
Firstly, is there a thing?
If not, would anyone have a 4.0 block just sitting around or a 5R55E waiting to be installed?
I would like to contract you to make a rubbing of the bolt holes on paper or cardboard to send to me so I may make a 3/8" steel plate to mount to an engine stand.
I have two long blocks and (had) 4 engine stands that don't fit.
As it is, the stands I had bought won't go anywhere close to where I need the arms to go; even mounting them in reverse.
I would Venmo you munny for expenses and trouble.
Thanks in advance!

2.9l, 4.0l OHV and 4.0l SOHC engines all have the same bolt pattern dimensions so any of those will work, or any transmission from one of those
This is a 2.9l or 4.0l OHV bell housing: https://www.therangerstation.com/wp-...ellhousing.jpg
4.0l SOHC has an extra bolt hole at 11:00, seen here: https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ran...a28bc0c80.jpeg
If you know or can get the input shaft diameter, i.e. 1", then you can measure distance between bolt holes using that as a scale with above pics, or even the bolts head size, or stator diameter
