I'm not fixing it this weekend lol, swapping some stuff with the same guy I got my tow mirrors from again. I'll probably order plugs next month and go from there.

Any of you guys have the diagram on which cylinder is which?

If I'm understanding your question you're just wanting to know where #2 cylinder is located. Then if the mod motor is like any other Ford V8 it would be the second cylinder back on the Pass. Side

All older ford V8's (Windsors, Clevelands, FE's and 385's were this way)

Front of vehicle
Drivers Pass. side
5 1
6 2
7 3
8 4

Yep thats exactly what I was asking, thanks. Any one care to verify that? (not doubting, just want to make sure before I start tearing into it)

??? All engines I've ever seen are ODD cylinders on one side , EVEN cylinders on the other.

2 1
4 3
6 5
8 7

Sides may be reversed , but # 2 will be a front plug.

Apparently you work on a lot of GM's then. Fords are 1234 on one side and 5678 on the other. At least on the engines I've listed which is most of their v8 familys.

Info on V8 Engine Firing Order

Here is a link specifically about the Mod motors.

I didn't think Ford would change it on the new motors but you never know with Ford.
