Hey guys I’m kinda new to this page but I was just wondering I’ve been looking into boosting my 4.0 but I just need some advice on a couple things? First thing being: moddbox sells a supercharger kit for a 1997-2001 ranger 4.0. What are the differences in the engine besides from obd2 & obd1 also would the on board diagnostics play a role in the supercharger. Would everything be the same except for the on board diagnostics or did Ford change a bunch of stuff? Are the intake manifolds the same? Would a 1997-2001 moddbox supercharger kit bolt on to my 1994 ranger 4.0?

 

NO, those kits are for the 4.0 SOHC engines, you have a 4.0 OHV engine in your 94.

Also in case you didn't notice, that $1999.00 price does not include the supercharger, which are getting very hard to find.
