2002 ranger transmission issue
sons ranger has had new column shift tube and plunger replaced and neutral safety switch also. the problem is when he puts it in gear he cannot "feel" the range selector go into the gear. when i was changing the safety switch the selector on the transmission would go into all gears but with no resistance, i could feel the "click" very faintly, is there an adjustment to give the selector more resistance where he can "feel" it go into the selected gear.
any help would be great.
