I’ve got a 2009 Ford sport ranger with 2 inch spacers. I’m just wondering if 33 inch tires will fit on there with a 16 in rim? Would lifting the torsion bar even be worth it?

Have a look here at the stock tire sizes that came on the different Ranger models in 2009: https://tiresize.com/tires/Ford/Ranger/2009/
If you click on the tire size it will show you the diameter if that tire
Wheel/rim size doesn't matter as long as it over 14", so it can fit over brake calipers and drums
Overall diameter of the tire is what matters
Largest 2WD was 29" tire
Largest 4WD was 30" tire
If its a 2WD then 33" would be 4" difference, but that's only 2" as far clearance, with 2" lift it should be OK, in the rear for sure, but the front may need to have fenders trimmed a bit
You can turn current tires left and right and measure closest distance to fender/wheel opening so see if you have 2" of clearance between current tire size(assuming 29") and body opening
