Hey everyone. Just posting this for general information for anyone who may look for it in the future. Have had a difficult time finding it, but I may have found some progress. Need to order & wait for the part to get here to verify. For those of us with the 3.0 v6 you may have noticed that oil changes are not the most pleasant thing to do. Many Rangers came with this, but it was also a tsb that was issued by Ford to install after the fact because the design behind it isn't very good as far as the oil filter placement is concerned considering how the oil drains onto the starter creating a potential fire hazard. Esp when using oil filter pliers creating spark when in contact with the starter. It's an afterthought but it's a plastic oil funnel that is placed under the oil filter so to divert oil draining from the filter away from the starter.
