4x4, how to use it right
#79
Wow this was a long thread! I guess I'm lucky living in the desert! I put my truck in 4wd at least 10 times on a average weekend. I hope I don't wear it out! LOL. I have BFG T/A KO's so All Terrian don't mean All Terrian? I traded my 2wd in for the 4wd in March and still can't get enough crawling up a mountain or a sandy wash! A big storm coming this weekend and I have plans on going up the mountain to try it out in the snow. Wish me luck! I'll be ready with supplies! (jacks, tow rope, Misc for traction) I've driven in real snow like 3 times in my life and that was in a 1980 mustang! I miss my mustang :(

no, ALLterrain does not mean ALL terrain or a LOT less people would run huge, expensive, short lived, loud, and did i mention expensive tires... theres a reason i grew up from my set of ATs
make sure you add atleast one buddy in another 4wd truck into that "supplies" mix, preferably 2-3 other friends
last time we went snow wheelin, i went to winch my buddy out, i was facing downhill, then i couldn't back up the hill to winch farther so i had to be pulled back.. if that 3rd guy hadn't been there we woulda been screwed.
screwed as in an hour from home, on a mountain with no cell service screwed haha, and on our way out it got cold and started snowing, that would have SUCKED
