ABS light on when cold

We just started finally getting colder mornings here in Colorado and twice now when the temp has been below 40 degrees the ABS light comes on solid after about 30 seconds of driving. This morning however I saw the red brake light flash as well (stayed on for maybe 5 seconds tops) then went away for the rest of the 25 minute commute. It didnt come back on when I go home later in the day last time. Its a 1993 4x2.
.
I did get an OBD1 reader, so I'm wondering if the onboard computer would have saved the abs light code so I can read it when I get off later today? Also not being that familiar with the brake system on this yet, I assume its only the rear wheels with ABS or is it 4 wheel ABS? I'm hoping its a just a dirty wheel sensor but any other ideas on what it could be would be great.

Check brake fluid level in Master cylinder, that sensor can cause both ABS and Brake light to come on
Unplug that sensors connector and check for corrosion, clean and plug back in

No, ABS codes never were part of the computer system codes, its a separate module
