I have an air bag code 27 does anybody know what causes it?
I have a 2000 ranger 3.0 v 6.

 

your deacativation switch for the pass airbag is bad

 

Do you know how to replace it or where I can get one?

 

junk yard for the cheapest. pull it yourself preferably.

 

Most likely the light is burned out on your deactivation switch. Do a search on Google and you'll find several sites that talk about replacing the light (from Radio shack) for a couple bucks and it solved the problem.
That was with a quick search on Google. I'm pretty sure someone on here has already wrote a "How to" for this. I'll look for you.

I've already replaced the light last year and it lights up when I start the truck and when I switch the key on and off.
