Any tips or trick before I start this project?!

Hey guys I'm flippin my shackle hangers tomorrow and was wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks?! Also I need to replace the float in my tank so my gas gauge will work right again lol can I buy just the float? '99 2.5L. I'll have before, during, and after pics for you guys tomorrow.. hopefully everything goes smooth!!

take your bed off. you have all the grade 8 hardware you need?

Pulled the bed bolts yesterday along with the taillight wiring and the filler neck. Going to get hardware in the morning. 3/8" x 1" correct?

i'm pretty sure you can buy just the float for your tank.

i've bought them before, just not for my rangers

yep 3/8th x 1. make sure theyre grade 8. youll need 8 bolts 16 washers and 8 nylock nuts

Tip: double check everything. I'd hate for you get it all put back together then you forgot to do something then have to take it all apart again.

haha ya i always double check cause i tend to forget small details sometimes! Does everything need to come apart or can i just put the jack under the bumper until the load is off the springs and the go from there?

not sure in your case, but when i went to put chevy shackles on my truck i had to disconnect the shocks because they were lifting the axle before all the tension on the leafs were released
