Hey guys, I'm new to the page, I just got my first 4x4 manual and I'm looking to put the dana 44 axle on it instead of the dana 28 it's got. I got and old 1986 ranger. My only real question is, is this swap going to be a pain in my *** or is it pretty straight forward? I know the dana 44 is wider than my stock axle, and also has that massive diff compared to mine, so will I have some clearance problems when it comes to actually fitting it to my old beater???
also let me know if you got any tips on my build, eventually I want him to be an off-road beast!!
