I bought some newish seats for my truck but my seat belts will not buckle. Does anyone know when ford changed so I know what year to get new belts from? Thanks

 

Well, I looked up replacement belts for 2001 Rangers and 2010 Rangers and they come up with the same products on most websites. Part searches aren't helping here...

I would suggest pulling the buckles off your old seats and installing them on the new ones. Its just one bolt at the end of each buckle, shouldn't prove to be too difficult.

 

98-03 is one style of seat, 04 is when they changed the seats and the belts again. then 06 or 07 they started adding weight sensors to the passenger seat, then 10 got airbags in the seats.

 

Nice thank you guys, unfortunately the day I was doing the install was trash day and I was anxious to get the old seats out my Dad's garage. So I tossed them before I could grab the buckles. But I will look for 04+ online and if I cant find any I will hit up the junkyard. Thanks again

 

you need some 04 ones? i have a set of 04 seats i just bought, don't need the buckles. i'll gladly sell them cheap. just let me double check that they are in good shape.
