Your thread seems to have gone unanswered because of the lack of information, and what information you did provide it seems you abbreviated.

If I have translated this correctly, you may have a 1993 Ford Ranger

Did the rear end blow up sending spider gears and crap out of the differential cover?

Is this a 2 or 4 wheel drive?

Are you talking about the front or rear axle?

What size engine do you have?

What transmission do you have, manual or automatic ?

Is the truck stock?

If the rear end is shot what rear end do you have?

Either a 7.5 or 8.8 what gear ratio do you have in the rear end?

If your problem is with the rear axle and it is blown up, replace it with a 8.8.

Yes you can buy aftermarket parts for it to make it tougher for off road use.

What kind of off road driving do you do? rock crawling, trail riding, high speed trail riding, mud bogs, jumps, steep inclines, all the above.

How aggressive do you drive your truck off road?

What kind of on road driving do you do? Is this a daily driver?

Do you spend a lot of time on the interstates driving at or over 60-70 MPH?

Taking your truck off road will break parts and eat money like there is no tomorrow.

There is not one single part or many parts you could buy that will guarantee that you will not break down or destroy parts.

You can only limit your off road fun to what your truck is capable off at the time and plan for unexpected repairs.

The more effort you put into your request for help, the more help you will receive on this or any forum.

My Son in law had a 1980s full size Ford Bronco,

He did a frame off restoration, built a 351 Cleveland to around 450 horse power, rebuilt the Auto transmission with performance parts and upgraded the transfer case.

Between the Body and suspension lift he was able to run 44 inch tires.

I do not remember what axles he used but they were not stock and he did upgrade to a straight axle with lockers front and rear.

Even with all the time and money he spent on this truck, he kept breaking parts.

By this time it is safe to say he had well over $20,000 in this truck and countless hours.

Eventually he realized that the type of driving that he wanted to do off road
required redoing the entire build.

He scrapped the Bronco body that he spent countless hours restoring and built a full on swamp buggy.

Yet when he did this work I told him to replace the axles with Rockwell top loaders.

My advice went in one ear and out the other.

Well here it is 2 years later and he is completely rebuilding the swap buggy

With a custom hand built frame, and those top loaders I suggested.

Currently the only part remaining of the original Bronco is the steering column.

When he got interested in taking his Bronco off road originally, I suggested
to him like I am suggesting to you.

Consider carefully what type of off road driving you want to do.

Build your truck for that type of driving and strictly limit yourself to that type of driving.

Go here: Ford 7.5 & 8.8 Inch Axle Tag & Door Codes

See what you have now and then look for L/S Limited Slip version of your current rear axle.

With 2WD and 32" tires you may want to change to a 4.10 ratio and 8.8" axle
Swapping the whole axle would be best and easiest
1993 and up uses the wider axle so you want one from a 1993 to 2012 Ranger, 1992 and earlier will be a 2" narrower axle

8.8" specs here: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...8_8-axle.shtml
