chalk me up as one with a burnt out headlight switch bulb. I just finished wiring in the LED and putting the dash back together. I thought about doing the 4x4 switch, but I'll do it when it gets around to crapping out.

OK, curiosity question.

My headlight icons will light up if I switch from off to markers, to headlights, but only when there is not key in the ignition. If I place key into ignition and just turn to ACC (turning 2 clicks forward as if going to crank it over) the light for the headlight icons stays on. Same for when I crank over. This is with the headlights off or on. Is it suppose to do this? It's been so long since I've had light there that I don't remember if they were always on when the truck was running, even with switch in off position.

Yes, mine does the same thing. I guess it's to help you find the headlight switch.

you have to pull your dash....

Follow the link posted by rwenzing on the first page for the LED wiring process.

And follow this link on how to remove the dash...

I wrote the LED how to and it's totally simple -- it doesn't even require soldering. I did it the way it is in my how-to many years ago and it's still working like a champ.

Yes my new slogan: If it's simple -- it's probably by Griggs...wait, that could have several meanings...let me think about that...
