Alright, I have a nice 98' 5Spd Manual. Now there is the ashtray there given the year the vehicle was produced. I don't smoke nor do I ever plan to do it in my vehicle. I was wondering what any of you have done with it or if there is something out there I can just replace the little ashtray slot with.

Like maybe adding a 12v socket there or using the space for mounting a cb/scanner.

What ever you feel the need for. Honestly, can't recommend adding junk novelty accessories,
that are likely quickly broken\inoperable & detract from vehicle reliability.

 

You can add the storage cubby that was put on the smoker delete models. Click the link below to see what they look like. They bolt right in place of the ashtray.

I decided to start smoking, seemed a waste not too with a perfectly good ashtray and lighter right there :)

 

When you take AshTray out, be sure to not "PICK THE WRONG WEEK TO QUIT SMOKING"

 

With all the health benefits smokiness brings, why would you ever get rid of the ash tray?
