I have a 1989 5speed 4x4 with a 2.3l 4cyl, i am wondering what better engine i can get that will fit in my truck. (preferably a v6 or just something with good power(no diesel))

 

the 5.0 litre v8 will bolt right in using aftermarket engine mounts

these mounts are the way to go , BUT!! you will have to ceramic coat the exhaust manifolds otherwise the heat will melt the polyurethane bushings
