First Genuine Accident heh.

Ok so ill start fdrom the begining, I went out to clarence tonight to get my check from my cousin, whom i work for, who lives out in the middle of no where... so on my way back, im heading down wilcott road, which is a pitch black road, thats about 5 miles long, straight as an arrow and kinda bumpy... high beems on, cruisin at about 55... i see two itty bitty dots in the distance.. its not till my headlights shine on a nice brown and white fur coat does it click in my hard head what the 2 dots are. so.. i slam on my brakes, lay rubber.... and stop dead at the dear... what im lookin at in front of me is a deer lookin straight at me, so damned close that my left head light is just a big white spot on its chest. we looked at eachother for about 10 seconds, then it ran off... so i put it in park grab my flash light, get out and look at my truck....... and what do i see .....

a whole lot of nothin! didnt hit the dear, but was DAMN close. so i get back in my truck and continue on my way, get to the end of the road, turn onto a main road then down another side road (shortcut to the interstate) cruisin along thinkin how friggin lucky i am.. see a car comin the opposite way, on this super narrow windoing road, slow down to like 30 from about 40, and pull off to the side a bit, and just as we pass i see this white - ish grey blob nail my antenna so hard it hits the roof of my cab, and this bird i think it was, bounces off my windshield... and is gone. slam on the breaks again. put in park get my flash light, and go outside... thinkin, great, now my fender is all scratched to ****, and maybe some other damage, look at it, and go over the whole area with my flash light, and theres and itty bitty scratch, like, 1/8th of an inch long where the antenna hit the roof... othere than that, nothing... not even a feather so i get back in and drive home with no other incidents... and that concludes my accident. a itty bitty little scratch.

I don't think it was an accident, those animals are against your truck..
Good thing they didn't do too much damage though, could've been tons worse!

This whole long story, I'm expecting some horrendous crash. After all that, your "accident" was a bird flying into your antenna???

I feel your pain with the deer though. I've had the same thing happen on many occasions.
