Help me figure this out!

I've been stuck with what i want to do with my truck!

i was planning on doing a 1'' body lift and getting side steps. crank the front up a little more.

but now i keep thinking about just getting the 3'' body lift and steps, and put expo leafs and ditch the stock blocks so the back is like 1/2 inch lower then it is now.

what do you guys think?

i'm not a fa of BLs but i think yours needs at least the 1" for a little more room. those tires looks too stuffed. don't do the pre-runner look. your truck would look good with an inch or 2 of rake.

SAS.

I'm not a fan of BL at all. But if you had to, do a 1" BL. The expo leaves would be nice just for the extra strength.

SAS is in the future, just no funds for it right now.

and yes i know 8.8 but do you really think you need that 31 spline behind that crazy power of the 2.5l? lol

I don't care for body lifts either, but a lot of people use them and have no complaints. If you want an inexpensive lift then go for it.

I'll be honest man your truck looks good how it is! But...

I def. Wouldn't lower the rear man..but as long as I was against the body lift, I now couldn't be more happier with mine. I just feel like that's a heck ton of work for just 1 inch, so I'd go with the 3" as long as you wil pay attention to the details such as the bumpers, gap guards, exhaust and so on.

Moar lift = GEWD!

Well, being the smart kid I am I know that I will be SASing and 4.0ing in the future. So knowing that I went ahead and bought the 8.8 since it was sitting 30 minutes away in a JY. Never put in the power and upgrade the drive-train. Upgrade the drive-train and put in the power And my never know. My torque ripping 120hp could snap an axle shaft or something.

You should take off the 3.0 Flexfuel emblem from the tailgate. I do not believe it still applies to your vehicle.

Also, in my personal opinion, you should do no more extra mods like tires, wheels, BLs, whatever until you have taken care of the big stuff like the 8.8 and coil overs or start building up for your SAS.

kinda an older picture, that and the dealership sticker are gone.

i've been looking on craigs for an 8.8, but i don't have a welder or garage space to do the mods for it to work on my truck right now.

I would say leave it how it is but a 1" body lift wouldnt make it look bad. i think 3" would make it look to tall. I like the stuffed look you have going on
