I have a '01 Ranger V6 3.0 Edge and i am getting awful gas mileage(10 city, 14 hwy), I have tried everything, new plugs and wires(gapped properly), cleaned the throttle body, new fuel filter, new air filter, new PCV valve, and i have also tried injector cleaner, and made sure the tires are properly inflated. NOTHING seems to work! Have any ideas? please post them!!!

yup clean the maf. also that cleaner you buy in the little bottle doesnt work. you need a kit that you hook to your fuel rail and use shop air for pressure and run the truck off that solution.

You can also try a seafoam treatment.

 

What mileage should the 3.0L be recieving i am curious because i just bought one (2006 sport) and only have a quarter tank thru it so far.

i couldnt tell ya. i have a 4.0 and get 11-12mpg

 

I got 16-18 easy with a stock height 3.0

 

ok, because its factory height

 

I got 18 city/ 23 Hwy with my 2004 B3000 Dual Sport.
