HELP Seat Swap 04/05 into 2000

I am trying to put the 04-05 60/40 Cloth Seats (Black and Grey) in my 2000 XLT. The mounts ares the same but the 04-05 have different seat belt holsters.

I have no idea what to do. My belts don't fir into the seats and I don't want to get a ticket for no seat belt.

Should I swap out the seat belts or the holsters? How do I do the holsters if so?

I know you guys do seat swaps all the time so any help would be great.

You need to take the seat belts off your old seats and install them on the new ones. They have the correct wiring plugs.

I was looking into that but the holsters on the new ones and they are all strapped in there. There is some type of explosive charge on them (wtf right?) and they has tension wires on them. But you say it is possible so I will screw with it some more.

I have 04 seats in my 2000 and I used the seat belts from the 2000 seats. On the newer trucks the have pre tensioners and the plugs are not the same. Also you will have an air bag light if you don't have it plugged in

The tensioner/female side of the seat belt just bolts on and off and is totally swappable. I put my brothers '03 seats into a '98 and I swapped the female side.

Yep yep. Got em all done yesterday. Switched over the holsters. Plugged right in. Swapped out the center seat belt. Look great. They are taller though so I have two more blind spots. They are stiff as all get out. I think the guy who owned them before rarely drove, they are practically new. He did have a dog though :/
