I'm on my 2nd ranger as well.
My first was this '89 XLT. It had the 2.9/5-speed.
I got it in '97 and drove it until '01.

I got my '99 in 2001.
It has the 4.0/automatic.

Rangers are decent little trucks!

93 XLT ext cab 4.0 2wd manual - from 2000-2005

Now:
04 manual FX4 Level II, working on twin shift mod....

I'd like to pick up an ext cab 88-91. I like the older body as well.

ive owned 5 rangers and now have a mountianeer, so 6 RBVs total so far

first my 97. this truck got me into minitruckin. i dont have a stock pic, but it was stock when i bought it and this is from its hayday

while i owned the 97 i thought i needed a toy as well
my 86(first turboranger)

then i decided my sweet turbo motor needed a better shell
my 89 (second turboranger)

while i was buildin various stages of the 89, i traded the 97 in on my 03 EDGE

and then i swapped my 03 EDGE for the 02 XLT

Im on my second. My first Ranger was a 1992 extended cab XLT. 4.0 with automatics. I loved that truck and still ran really well at 421K when the idiot ran the light and destroyed it. Now I have my 2000 that I ahve had for almost 5 years and love it. Thinking about getting a 4WD as a play toy to.

I learned how to drive stick on my mom's 92 sploder 4.0 4x4, does that count as 3 RBV? First time I used the twin shifter on it was May 2000 out in the Harquahala Mnts of western AZ.
