I don't think i've owned less than 3 vehicles in the last 4 years.
My truck isn't in my name, But the Buick and usually two other beaters i'm selling/fixing are in my name. My insurance company hates me.
I don't see what the problem with owning a bunch of cars is, Its nice to get up in the morning and go "i don't feel like driving my truck, I'll take the car"

Thats cheap for EMT school! Get ready for all the fee's after the course. My course cost $1000 and now its another $300-$400 in fee's for the licenses. If you need help with any of it shoot me a PM.
Yeah it took me a year and a half to get to the point were I was okay/realized it was best to let the f150 go.

As far as emt goes I got my GED at a local community college and get one class for a semester free. So when all is said and done I will only pay around 200-300 for my EMT class.

I don't care what it is, just get one nice vehicle that meets all of your needs and drive it everyday and keep it for a few years. No other cars coming and going. You modify them all too, so you're just further wasting money on them.
lol I am a multi-car kind of person. There is no one certain vehicle that fits my needs. If there was it would have to be a transformer car in order for it to work out haha.

either way i've had friends that go through cars like this.

myself i had a cavalier from 16-18 and my ranger from 18-present(23). well i guess i bought a lumina this spring but the gf drives that so i guess 3 cars in 7 years is good when i still own 2 of them.
I usually break even or make money and its usually the latter.

Tons of people do it. For some one car works perfectly, but for others there is the need for more then one type of vehicle. In my case I need more then one.

hmm. so you'll have the explorer, the focus, and maybe the bmw when all said and done? doesnt seem to bad. but out of curiostiy. what do you get for mpg in the f150? because your saying it costs you a lot in gas to drive it.. only reason i ask is because my ranger gets about the same mpg as my dads 5.3 yukon.. i just have to fill up more because i have a smaller tank. so it costs me the same in gas to drive either one, i just fill up less with the gmc.. so it sounds like the f150 isnt doing so well mpg wise. just curious tho. because the deal your looking at i would probably do as well.

Hello 1.5k payday.
Just curious, what do you think is under miles?

I think what he means is under the average mileage for the year. Like under 12,000 per year. At least thats what I think he meant.

I'm talking about saving money in gas. I do a lot of driving and will be going back to doing delivery while in school. So the focus will definitely save me a lot of money. Gotta remember though I am making about a 3k-3500k profit in this trade.

Wasn't a planned trade like my others. I enjoy the ranger a good bit, but financially I will be gaining a lot doing this trade and helping a friend. Tell me whats so bad about that?

F150 is getting about 13city and 16hwy and takes about 80ish to fill up each tank. I have no real need for it. My explorer does 16-17 city and around 20hwy and only cost 45-50 to fill up and I get almost the same distance out of a tank in it as I do with the f150. I know I will sell it eventually. I just decided to do it now while its still worth a fair bit.

Never said it was bad. I just predicted how long it would be before you got rid of it, I was damn close too.

A gen older than yours and we all know all trucks get whatever gas mileage they want no matter how identical they may be.

Yep newer technology makes a difference. Plus the 20's aren't exactly light either.
