a body lift is just that. its lifts the body off of the frame 3". it doesnt touch the suspension at all. with a 4x4 98-00 i think the trend is 33x 12.5. i have never done one on a ranger, but follow the instructions.. and im hearing things on here about heating the bed bolts?? in order to get them out easier. somebody correct if i am wrong

dude screw the body lift and get a suspension lift it is so much better. body lift do not lok nearly as good or do not perform like a suspension lift does. i have a fabtech lift i just got for my truck and it is bad(in a good way) may cost a little more but not much in the end, and it is well worth the money

I love my body lift, and with my gap guards and custom hitch, it looks almost like a suspension lift. My body lift was like $170, a suspension is like $1500; there's a HUGE difference, like the difference between a lifted Ranger and a stock Ranger. That, and I know eventually I will also get a suspension lift. I hated body lifts until I did some research, as it turns out, it's a really good way to start.

Plus the torsion bars still hang low anyways on some suspension lifts!! What is the point of a Suspension Lift if not all the parts will be raised! I say go with the body lift! Your truck can handle the beach even at stock height! Doesn't sound like you are going to be going over canyons anytime soon anyways! Just makes sense.

why buy a superlift for all that money when you can get a bl and put the same size tires.. a bl with 33's and a super lift with 33's will give you th same clearence. the cross member still hangs low on a superlift.. tires is whats going to get your **** off the ground. im putting on a bl then in the future ill put on a RCD lift and do some 35's.. superlift is a waste..
