If you would have got an extended cab 4.0, you might have been happier....

I do like my Ranger. 23mpg, fun, enough power to climb the Arizona mountain grades in 5th gear. Good for me.

Probably not because that couldn't tow a 16 foot encolsed trailer with a race car and I really hate compact trucks and cars for that matter after owning one. I will never buy a compact vechile in my life again. Hoping to get a F150 crew cab this october or sooner.

I don't regret anything yet, and if I were to regret anything it would probably be buying the 5100 instead of the 5150 Bilsteins.

no regrets........my mods are well thought out.........I dont just buy something without thinking hard about how it will look, etc. Although, im kinda getting tired of my pistol grip handle...... but only because I find my self sometimes shifting by the top of it like a regular shift ***.......think I might get a T grip handle or something. The shifter arm I made is fine though.

Cutting my bumper to fit my tow hooks back on after body lift, The B-lift should have saved and went with the suspension lift, cheap wal-mart offroad light mounted on front bumper should have waited on bush gaurd. Other than that love my truck

There was a thread you made awhile back on what you should do next on your truck, ever think about getting rid of the fender antenna and getting one of those euro antenna for the top of the cab.

They sit on the roof by the top of the windshield, or the rear of the roof.

Most european cars have them, something like these.

I am with all of you.

I want a bigger truck to haul bigger things but I really do not need one right now.

But I get the joy out of playing in the mud with all my desiel friends and watching them all get stuck as I drive by.

The only regret i have is buying 265/75/16 last year and then decideing to lift it a few inches and now i could fit 285/75/16

I VERY carefully research each mod to the point of obsession. Luckily its worked out so far for me and i really don't regret anything.

I got a great deal cuz i know head of fleet sales at ford and I HATE big trucks. cuz of money that left me with a ranger . ford sucks , for example my rear main seal already had to be replaced and the idler pully went out within 5,000 miles. ranger is however better then my old s-10. next time its a jeep rubicon or tacoma.

the good thing is its almost paid off which will leave me plenty of money for superlift and a bunch of other mods to turn it into a serious offroad machine. I plan to keep it FOREVER and whatever breaks i'll build it stronger. i like sleeping in the bed when i camp so thats the main reason i'm gonna keep it and get a rubicon for short trips.

No regrets on buying the ranger. (after 5 yrs and it being paid off)
Do regret getting the 3.0 instead of the 4.0, and in the winter regret not having the 4x4.

Regret my accident mod, in the driver side fender with a broken front axle. take some money off my trade in.

But i've convinced myself to drive it until the motor doesnt work anymore...then swap in a 5.0, or something better at the time.
And then purchase my F250 Powerstroke
So that way i have the best of both worlds.

I regret my "hey i'm stupid, and drove too fast through a long deep water hole, and I didn't take out my k&n fipk system and replaced it with stock intake, and I sucked in a shat load of dirty water and killed my motor along with destroying my K&N cone" mod.

Where I died:

BTW...this is a pic that was taken of another rig going through the same hole:

I regret going with a SOHC mod in place of my OHV. It's not worth it. If I could do it all over agian I would have rebuilt the OHV with nice slugs and a cam and I could have left the rest of the truck alone.

I love my 4.0 power it will pull anything I put behind it but I did my gas mileage the other day and I got 13.1 MPG!!!!!!!! My friends V8 trucks get at least that on highway or better.
