My door was full of water

So it rained pretty good all day yesterday and today when I was at work I opened my passenger door and I hear water sloshing around. WTF, So I whipped it back and forth and all this water started coming out. Then I removed those little tabs on the bottom of the door so it could drain out. This has never happened before and nothing has changed. Checked all the seals and they are the same.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Should I just leave those tabs out so it can drain?

Bad window seals. Mines done it for a long time now. I think it's probably common.

There's rubber plugs in the bottom of the door to let it out. You can leave those out if you don't do water crossings a lot.
