Need Help on Brakes.

I am replacing the drivers side brake caliper tommorrow and can not find my Haynes Manual. I have never replaced a caliper before and need a guide. Was wondering if someone could scan that section of the manual for me and email it. I would just go out and buy another one but I live in Hollond so i have to order one. I would apperciate anyones assistance. Thanks guys.

jack up truck, remove rim, take off brake line loosen two caliper mounting bolts, they should on back of the caliper facing the engine, pull caliper off, keep brake pads in caliper bracket, put new caliper on, install two bolts, install brake line, bleed brakes, and put back on rim. unjack truck and grab a beer, should take about 20minutes depending on how bad the brake line is in the caliper

Be sure to use Locktite on the caliper mounting bolts and wrench them down hard.
The new caliper should come with 1 or 2 copper washers. These go on the banjo bolt which holds the brake line to the caliper.Look for them when removing the brake line.

you already have to replace a caliper on an 05? ^ going by what he said.. just to clear things up wrench down hard on the caliper bracket bolts not the bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket. if you really crank down on the caliper bolts they will even snap.

Still in need of help

The reason to replace the caliper was to fix a jerk to the left when brakes were applied. Here is the story. A few months ago I got newish 33x12.5wheels and tires from a friend. While putting those on I also put on new brake pads. After putting on the pads and wheels the truck shook like crazy when driving at high speeds and pulled to the left while braking. My first thought was the wheels needed to be balanced so I got that done and an alignment. Still the truck shook. So I decided to take off the pads and replaced them with the origanal pads.Doing so removed the shake but still pulled to the left while braking. So i was convinced that it was the caliper and/or rotor. So today I replaced both and again new pads. And the verdict........ it is still pulling. Does any one have any ideas? Could it be the rear drum? Please give me some ideas.

If it shakes while braking you got warped rotors. If it shakes all the time then you need tires balanced.
