Hello! I am new here to these forums. After alot of research and test driving i decided the ford ranger was the pickup for me.

I just went to the ford dealership and put in my order for a 2022 black appearance ranger lariat but im
concerned now. If they are gonna refresh the ranger for 2023 i think i will canceled my order and wait. But i have been reading online that the refresh with the new headlights on the ranger the C shaped ones are coming to the 2022.

so confused. Anyone know if the refresh is coming next year or 2023? And if it is coming in 2023 should i just cancel my order and wait?

I ordered a 2021 ranger in August with a build date of the week of 18 October. When that week passed I asked my salesperson what the status was. She told me that Ford cancelled additional 2021 vehicles and would change all pending orders to 2022 models. I asked about changes and she sent me an internal listing that showed almost no changes to the model for 2022. There was no mention of the V6 engine but had some changes to color options and the new Splash package. My new build date is December. I do not think this is enough time to introduce all new changes. Everything I have seen notes the major changes will be for the 2023 year production scheduled sometime in the Fall of 2022
