Lights. You already have rims and they won't do anything for your functionality. But that's always my bias, lol.

Well i guess im going to be different then everyone else
I say wheels for sure.
People will notice new wheels before lights.

I never looked into buying lights, but there that expensive???

the wheels are around $200 from 4 wheel parts.com and the lights are about $155 from summit so its pretty close with the wheels i wont need to get them shipped since there is a location in jacksonville

I say rims. Its ridiculous when two lights cost as much as a set of rims.

lol! I agree with the price. My "Rally" brand cheapy lights are 100w each and cost $19.95 a pair at "Big Lots". Of course, you never know what is going to be at Big Lots so chances are you won't find them. There were only two sets when I went to the local one.

I still think it depends on your goal: getting noticed or adding function. You've never stated what the goal of spending that much money is, so everybody is imposing their frame of reference.

So the question is: why do want each of them? If it's looks, either will do, but perhaps the wheels are more important. If it's function, new wheels without a corresponding tire change buys you virtually nothing in terms of function, so lights would be the only logical choice.

well my plan is to do both evetually with larger tires and a spindle lift but im just trying to do it a little at a time since money is always tight... looks are always good but i want it to perform off-road as well which is my main reason for these mods

If you are willing to go away from the KC's, I have a set of PIAA's I have been thinkng about selling, they have never been used. I need to find the model number on them, but I think they sell for like $250 new, I would be willing to let them go for $150 + shipping, and would sent the light tabs as well.

I think is cause they are cheap rims, mine were like $800.

Those kind of warranties only cover product defects like the wiring shorting out, melting stuff, etc. (where the problem is the products fault not yours). Now if you bash it against a rock its your fault.

I've got the slim lights on my bumper Billy and they are great
are you buying the rims off Q - if so just save up for the KC'S and get them later
those Alcoas rock - very light weight and tough too
