Overhead console swap?

I have an 09 Ranger. I didn't see any with overhead consoles at the dealership at the time. I was wondering if they actually exist for our trucks (just a plain one, nothing fancy.)

If not is there something else that would be a close fit that I could swap with minimal mods?

They're a direct drop-in? Wow. For my '09, do I have to find a same-age donor Explorer? Or will 98-01's work.

The wiring part doesn't bother me. I converted a vehicle from diesel to port fuel injection and wound up rewiring 50% of the stuff under the hood. I thought I'd have to fibreglass something up to make it fit.

Anything from a '95 to '01 or so Explorer should work. The worst part is cutting your headliner.... once you get that done you just have to drill two holes and cut a couple slots.

What colour is your interior? Just an FYI... if it's black I've found that Krylon Fusion satin black is a very close match to a black Ranger interior.

If you go get one form a junkyard do you need the wiring used in the explorer or can you use different wiring?
