rearanti lock

rearanti lock
OK, the front brakes are done. Very grabby, but done.
Now on to the rear brakes, hopefully I can do them this weekend. One question is when you start the truck all the dash lights come on then go off (as a diagnostic tool, for a better word), and one of the lights says "rearanti lock". What the heck does this mean? 1990 Rangers don't have anti-lock brakes, do they?
Any helpful hints for doing the brakes? It's been over 20years since I've done drum brakes, lol. Also can't afford a manual at this time.
*first of many newb questions

The only time it will be harder is if you lose fluid completely from the brake lines to the rears. It is very difficult to purge the ABS module .
Just changing the shoes and hardware shouldn't be hard , just do one side at a time .
If you think you screwed up , remove the opposite side drum and compare.

From what I remember from Bob, is that all rangers from 89 on had rear anti lock brakes. The drums aren't to hard, they just aren't as simple as discs. As for the rear adjusters if I remember correct it is a standard thread (right tight). You may have to use a hammer to get the drums off still since they can get a pretty high ridge after 20 years of use.

Cool. Drums off
Bought and ordered parts. Luckily I started before the drums came in. They gave me 10" instead of 9". Figure i can replace the pads and be done by the time the drums come in.
Stupid question...why do the wheels turn when it's jacked up but in GEAR? off to work i go
*Sorry for all the posts on just brakes, been awhile and it helps me work through it. LOL

Brakes are DONE! Just a couple of questions and we can put this thread to bed.
Found a couple of leftover parts. hehehe. Two plugs, which i know where they go, just didn't take out the old ones so didn't bother. The ones I am confused about are the two "U" clips for a better word. They are not "C" clips, but perfect U's. So even if there was a spot for them, wouldn't they just work themselves off? Anyway, couldn't find a spot for them. No pivot pin for the brake lever which i've seen on the car i did eons ago. Didn't fit on the Anchor pin. Too big (i think) for the Shoe Hold-Down springs.
Last question....meh, can't remember. Must not have been important.
Thanks for every ones help
