Pos/Neg battery cables

How hard is it to replace the positive and negative battery cables on my 05 Ranger with the 4.0?

This past winter the clamps I had corroded so bad onto the old battery terminals, I had to cut the cables and put on new clamps. They were stretched before, and really stretched now.

I'm installing a body lift soon, and I don't think the cables will be long enough to reach the battery after its completed.

Any writeups?

Thanks

Just follow the cables to where they terminate and unbolt. Swap both in about 20 mins.

Most implement dealers can make them in a heavier gauge also.

Wasn't sure if they were apart of a larger wiring harness or separate.
