Tried the acetone in the gas tank trick.

Well, I tried the acetone in the gas tank trick and I actually did experience better mileage. however when you factor in the price of the acetone, and the amount of mileage increase, it's not much better than just buying the gas. Not to mention you don't run the risk of damage to your vehicle. Since I am buying a new f150 next month, I will continue to use up the acetone I have, but after that it is straight gas for me.

take a teaspoon of motoroil, 2 parts acetone, 1 part moonshine, a drop of fingernail polish remover to 6 gallons of gas and you've got some serious petrol in your tank
