SoCal: Rincon Shortcut?

Has anyone done the Rincon Shortcut up in LA? I saw it on a moto forum and it looked pretty cool. doable in my truck? (2wd w/ tires) can you go fast in some parts? and is it smooth in some parts? Tell me whats up! Thanks!

yea we have had a few gatherings there...if you like your paint unscratched i would recommend turning around before the top...it gets really brushy....

yea the top does. i deciede to drive throught the bush instead of the path and it messed my paint up pretty good.

i love rincon, but it's gotten a LOT worst since back in the days...

if we can have a meet there agian, i'm ALWAYS down for it, just wouldn't take my truck (black truck + scratches sucks)

My truck is black. I just buff all the scratches out.

you guys are wusses, its easy for 2wd, and most "scratches" come off when you wipe it off.

Its closed now because of all the fires though

Is it still? I know they have reopened all of the National Forest land, but haven't heard about state. Hopefully we get some rain soon so they can reopen it.
