Sudden exhaust difference?

Well, I dont know what forum to put this under.

I was driving and i stepped on it, it got to about 4k and i heard a clunk. I got off the gas and it ran fine and is still running fine but the exhaust is a lot quieter and deeper.

I have it dumped under the bed with no muffler and its always been very loud.

unfortunately your truck is over the 1995 cut off, meaning your cat must actually work.. therefore, chances are, this will be expensive.
