is there a red line
thats good ... 4cyls are limited to 93 (although my gps read 94 max downhill on i-15 between barstow and vegas) ... speedo said 100 but my tires are 215 / 70 / 15 and factory is 225 / 70 / 15
Well,
obviously i wondered what the limit was cause there was not one marked on the tach.
I have taken mine to 5,500 with no rev limiter and I think that is about the limit based on the way the touque curve dropped.
thanks for the info, and my 3.0 will never see 6,000!!!!!

With my computer OBDII hookup, i can view engine diagnostics and gauges. I can hit 6189 rpms MAX from first to second gear, automatic. But however, there is a lower neutral redline for 3600 rpms (limiter). Plus, in the auto, once you hit the redline, the torque (maybe only in my case) from the shift is enough to rocket you forward
