M50D-R1 Transmission Sealing
I’m dropping the trans on my 1992 Ford Ranger XLT to do a clutch job. It’s got the five speed manual transmission, and there’s a few areas that are leaking some transmission fluid. Are there specific gaskets or seals that I need to have to reseal it? Or can I just use normal gray RTV gasket maker? Looks like some of it might just be RTV silicone. Can I just use that to reseal the top plate that the shifter forks ride on? As well as the rear transfer case?

Yes,you can use RTV
Here is an article about the shift rail plugs, if they are leaking: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...g-maintenance/
For the Fill and Drain bolts, take one to autoparts store and get 2 copper crush washers for better seals
