Icon9 Truck Wrecked

As of 6:50pm this evening my truck is no more...for now.

It got wrecked on the on ramp from Douglas Blvd to I-80. I spun out and hit the curb. The driver side rear tire came off, taking part of the axle with it. The tire rode up on the driver side denting the bed, door panel, taking the mirror with it, and front fender. The tonneau cover came off as well, and it is cracked. No other damage is visible at this time. It appears that it may be just body damage on the driver side, along with the need for a new axle and possible some underbody stuff. The bodykit is destroyed as well, the tailgate may be damaged also.

Two out of four wheels are cracked. One appears to be bent and one is just fine. Or so it seems.

Everything else starting from the hood, and the roof, and the whole passenger side appears to be fine. There may or may not have been any frame damage. I am unsure at this point.

Hopefully, the truck won't have to be totaled. Hopefully, it can be repaired. I think it can. But we will see.

Thank you.

Jason

Holy crap that sucks! I want more details on how you lost traction. Were you driving too aggressively, was the pavement wet, or was it someone else's fault?

Edit: If you need any parts during the repairs, let me know!

Always sad to hear any car/truck with a lot of wrench time into it get wrecked.

I hope your ok.

Hope they don't total it. If they do and if you like it as much as you seem you do, due to work done. Look into buying it back from the insurance company and fit it up.

im in the same boat as you are, still dealin with the insurance to take care of mine-glad to see you are ok
if they total it, the F-150's are going cheap now, about same price as a ranger, so im thinking im gonna go with a new F-150 if i can get it for about the same price
Best of luck to ya getting it taken care of
