update:

talked to the insurance company today.. the missing filter and my sub and box are covered under comprehensive... 500 dollar deductible and the parts are a whopping 200 bucks. so no dice there..

my sunglasses tools gps ect are covered under homeowners insurance.. about 600 dollars worth of stuff.. 1000 dollar deductible.. no dice there either..

total money insurance is giving me.. a whopping grand total of zero.. honestly not surprised.. so now on top of investing in an alarm i need to buy all new stuff. yay being on a college budget.. and that means im probably buying a filter and putting the truck back on the road and slowly getting stuff back over a long period of time..

 

That's the price we pay to have cheaper insurance. High deductables.

Alarms alone aren't worth a thing. Imagine going to a movie indoors & come out to find your s**t has been stolen because your truck got broken into. The alarm was screaming & yelling but no one cares because they go off all the time. People like to play with them to show everyone that "I've got an alarm". "So What", so does everyone else. That's why people hear them & don't pay any attention to them, as long as it's not their car! That's why you need a camera system Then at least you will know who's *** your gonna go find & kick his *** or worse. Check out this "bad guy" here in Texas where I live.

 

I couldn't get the site to cooperate with me so go to google & look up "old man in texas keyed hummer". He was a councilman in the next town from me & he got "BUSTED" for it. SORRY ***. He didn't see the mirror cameras.!!! HAHAHA.
