I have a 04 Ranger 4x4, xlt, with the 8.8 and 4.10 limited slip. I was at my local salvage yard and they have an 05 Ranger FX4, that was rolled. The rear end, engine, and auto tranny, were stripped but the rest is there. I know the seats are different as these are black with gray inserts, also don't they have an extra skid plate or something? I was just wondering if there was anything cool the FX4 would have on it that I need to pick up.

 

Shocks, skid plates, seats, rims, torsion bars...

 

Whats the difference on the skid plates? I'll have to check the mileage and shocks to see if they're even worth pulling off.

I'll have to check the tow hooks but I think they're just black. Its just a base level FX4 no level two. I really want the interior out of it, as it has a console, pretty mint seats, and power window/locks. So whats the deal on the skid plates.

 

They have a Front/T-Case/Gas Tank skids. My truck came with a Gas/T-Case skid but no front skid. Crawl under your truck and see what it has. Then just get the ones yours dosen't have if it has any at all.
