Painted the fog light housings & finally got an annoying mark out of the clusters plastic cover that was driving me nuts.

 

did some welding/reinforcing brackets, painted some of the frame and said brackets.

 

burned my clutch pushing my trans am

 

throttle peddle bracket came apart from the fire wall when i was trying to overtake someone on the freeway on my way to bid a job. looked like ford attached it with J.B. weld.

 

I installed 10k hid conversion and white face gauges and i changed the oil with cheap oil drove around for a few hundred miles and then changed it again with the mobile1 to flush out all the bad stuff degreased the engine too, doing all brakes and tune up next to get ready for summer, 197000 miles and runnin perfect

 

relocated the alarm horn, replaced the batteries in my key fob so i could start it from more than 5 feet away again, and took it to the store to get beer and cigarettes.

 

Gave it hell at Uwharrie!!

Ok I'm going to do a What Did I Do Over The Past Month Post.

First I bought it, then I installed my Alpine and 2 1200 Watt 12" Kenwoods in a Dual Box powered by a 1600 watt amp, then I installed new rotors and pads, then I gave it a tune up, cleaned the throttle body, changed the oil, installed a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler and dumped the tail pipe out the side before the rear axle, then I installed the toolbox my dad gave me off his Ranger, then I replaced the headlights with silverstars, then I had a new windshield put in, then I took the brand new battery out of the Jeep and put it in it, then I had to put 2 new oxygen sensors in it, then I tinted the front windows to match the back and finally after a months hard work and a lot of money later I changed the thermostat.

installed my weaker amp bc the other one shorted out bc the damn potentiometer for the gain control on channel one and two broke off n rolled all over the circuit board sigh oh well its past time to get a shallow mount sub

 

Went to the local dragstrip last night ( Palm Beach Int. raceway) to watch a friend run his Nova. Saw a first gen Ranger running 9.4 @ 145. Then as I was about to leave I saw an 01- 03 stepside ranger with no badges, I thought to myself, cool someone to run against with mine next week. Until I heard the Turbo Diesel spooling up and smoking the hell out of those tires.... Don't know what he was running in it but it was a hell of alot quicker than me. He was somewhere around 11 sec 1/4 mile and I don't think he was trying too hard.

 

Took it to the dealership for a recall and had just enough niteshade left to jack up a set of tail lights.

 

absolutely nothing. ill drive it to work later but thats it for today

 

Over spring break, installed Hella 500FF's, relocated my OHC temp sensor, redid my exhaust, installed Silverstar Ultras, put a Sport Trac 4x4 emblem on, and got a FREE camper shell.

I washed and waxed mine saturday. This is the LAST Red Ranger i own. Sure it looks nice when its clean, but it shows EVERYTHING!! i am also mad because i found a few knicks and scratches from the mild offroading i did this past winter. I guess the newness is gone now! I feel sorry for those with black ones!

 

well today i took it to go get a haircut and some burger king. now im bout to go to the parts store and pick up a new TPS for it and get that changed and see if that fixes my idle problem....

 

Installed some fog lamps. Cleaned the interior. Went to the countryside and had some bbq. Messed all the interior. LOL.

Today, I'm experiencing this rough idle before full stop... rpms are high for a sec or two... imma clean the IAC valve and see if it fixes my problem... i'd clean the MAF sensor, but I can't find MAF cleaner...

 

did you check the store for the maf cleaner?

i left my truck in the parking lot of a maximum security jail, and got the **** outa dodge... not really... the city is actually called calgary

 

Moved it from one side of the driveway to the other, took the convertible out for a few miles today...

 

yeah i did. They always say they are out of stock... pff... could the MAF be cleaned with electric parts cleaner or isopropyl alcohol??

 

wanted it to be sitting in the parking lot at work, or in the driveway at the house.
