1993 4.0 engine replacement

1993 4.0 engine replacement
Found out my ranger has a bad engine, so I bought a new used one. My question is, can I pull the engine/transmission/transfer case out together or will I have to seperate the tranny?
93 4.0 4x4 5 speed.

You have to drop the transfer case off, its just too long with it attached, and its easy to pull off
But the engine with trans can be pulled out together, put a board over windshield, I broke one once when engine/trans slipped back, but it was a 2wd V8/automatic with long tail shaft housing, lol
