1999 4WD Ranger ABS Issues

Hello All,
I have just put new rotors on my 99 Ranger, and now the ABS kicks in sometimes when coming to a stop.(ABS light does NOT come on or stay on). I am kinda confused on the rear ABS sensor and if that could be the problem.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Did you wear in the pads correctly?

The pads were just put on the same day it started. And I did not clean them with brake cleaner, I will pull everything off and wipe it all down. Would dirt or grease from the new rotors/pads make the ABS do that??
Thanks for the replys!!

the oil they put on the rotors to keep them from rusting could cause that especially if theres one side that has less oil on it...then that wheel could be spinning slower than the other front wheel...after you spray everything down that might solve the problem
